An extraordinary quarter has to be created in a non-traditional manner. “Saulės sonata” is a unique example of collaboration among different architects. At first a general architectural concept of the quarter was created by seven gifted Lithuanian architects: Audrius Ambrasas, Darius Juškevičius, Gintaras Klimavičius, Sigitas Kuncevičius, Gintautas Natkevičius, Saulius Pamerneckis, Rolandas Palekas. Then each architect picked out his note.


Ambience

The “Saulės sonata” quarter will be composed of seven modern design villas located in the old English style park near the Druskininkai church. Each villa has been designed to harmoniously complement the park’s space and that includes protecting the old trees. All buildings of the quarter will be finished at the same time, along with the landscaping of the construction site, by the end of 2010. No other constructions will take place nearby and therefore the quarter’s architectural harmony and tranquillity will remain undisturbed.


Value

Modern and architecturally distinctive quarters in the centre of a resort are not a common occurrence. This makes the apartments in “Saulės sonata” not only the examples of superior quality but also exemplify the meaning of good taste. It will be possible to choose not only an apartment of different size and layout, a floor or a view through the window but also a villa designed by a favourite architect.


Apartments

Wide variety of apartments offers a possibility to choose a second home considering all needs and abilities. Apartments having 1 to 4 rooms and 30 to 160 m2 in three, four, five and six floor villas are divided in two classes – ELITE and CLASSIC.

ELITE class apartments are in smaller villas (SOL, LA, SI) and the owners of these apartments will have fewer neighbours. All ELITE class apartment owners will enjoy unique interior, fireplaces, home SPA (sauna and whirlpool bath), separate storage space in the cellar, and those living on top floors will have roof terraces.

CLASSIC apartments are in larger villas (DO, RE, MI) and they are less spacious. Only some of these apartments will have fireplaces and home SPAs(sauna and whirlpool bath). Common storage space will be available in the cellar.

Villa MI is classified as CLASSIC+ and is in between ELITE and CLASSIC.


Turnkey

Each apartment will be fitted out to the highest standard and fully prepared for a comfortable living or relaxation. The unique interior of each apartment will be designed by professional designers and all finishing touches will be supervised. Each kitchen will have quality furniture and appliances, and each bathroom will be fully fitted. All heating, electricity and water consumption costs will be calculated separately for each apartment. Heating and air conditioning systems will have a remote control option (via SMS).


Quality

Apartments in “Saulės sonata” will not mean a number of square metres, each of them will be a tasteful, harmonious and cosy space. Best quality materials will be used throughout the construction of villas, and construction will be supervised by the best field professionals. All apartments will have 3 m high ceiling, big windows and loggias or balconies.


Cars

The tranquillity of the quarter will not be disturbed by cars – they will be safely kept in a closed underground parking lot, where each apartment will have one parking place.


Practical solutions

The main concern of the inhabitants of “Saulės sonata” will be leisure arrangements. All administrative issues concerning villas and the quarter will be handled by the project developer.


Commercial premises

Ground floors of five villas are intended for commercial premises. These premises will be sold only to the businesses, which will raise the value of residential part of the quarter. There will be no have restaurants or big grocery stores in “Saulės sonata”. Current plans are to have a beauty parlour & health centre, a small product store, a bookstore, a post office a travel agency and a lawyer’s office. Each business will be required to ensure peace and comfort of the quarter’s inhabitants.
